THE CHALLENGE
The Rochester Museum & Science Center is a local museum dedicated to teaching of the science and natural world within Rochester, NY. The Deputy Director of Design/Exhibit Services was in the process of reimagining an exhibition wing and envisioning ways to widen the access points into case enclosures, so that collection objects and handlers can be brought safely in and out, without totally demolishing the exhibit.
THE SOLUTION
The main project was to develop a CAD drawing of the closed exhibit as it now stands so that it could serve as a reference document when designing possibilities for reusing the space.
